The place is calm. The room is small and in direct sunlight; it lacks a bedside table with a lamp. The breakfast was very disappointing: only two slices of toast per person. The manager checked the pantry for bread and pastries, returned with a croissant and a chocolate bun, telling us we wouldn’t get fresh bread.

I liked that the staff really try to do something despite having little money, and that the hotel is monitored as best as they can, but there is absolutely no working staff, so the hotel doesn’t function as a hotel. There is no breakfast. I had to buy everything at a shop. The hotel is half‑closed; the bed in the room was completely damp, I slept in a truck like a long‑haul driver. There was no staff at all, the whole hotel was in my possession, I had the keys to the hotel and all rooms. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation.

“Déplorable”

Impossible to respond. I booked through Booking, arrived to find the establishment completely closed! We found a phone number, called, and a man answered, telling us it was impossible to get a room because the hotel was full (at that moment we were standing in front of a closed door and a completely empty building!). A huge lie from someone who refuses to work! It was almost 8 p.m. and there was no alternative place to sleep. In a hurry, we contacted nearby hotels and a very friendly staff member accepted us at her hotel in Castres and even stayed until our arrival at 8:25 p.m., even though she was supposed to finish at 8 p.m., to hand us the keys. This place really needs to rethink its copy and show at least a minimum of seriousness and honesty. And definitely stop listing on Booking quickly.
