The room and the outdoor bath was wonderful. Very relaxing and comfortable. We could see mt Fuji from out balcony and the staff were very accommodating when it came to our requests. Dinner was very tasty, if a little expensive for what it was. The surrounding forest is beautiful. The dining area is dated and definitely showing its age due to the concrete and grey interior. And while the dinner food and drink were delicious, the lighting was too bright and harsh. The atmosphere wasn't very good due to the size of the dining area and the layout of the tables, it felt flat, no background music or anything. It could have done with some partitions or decorations
