The spot is great, close to the main restaurants, the village, and the Barracão supermarket—everything’s within walking distance. The staff were super polite, kind and helpful. The air‑conditioning blows cold. Breakfast was fantastic with many items like tapioca, cuzcuz, omelette, all made on the spot when requested. The lodge works well for people who want to explore the island and use the place mainly to sleep and shower. Wi‑Fi was solid. The room and bathroom are small but have a mini‑fridge, a TV with cable channels, and closets; I wish there were more hooks to hang things. Wet clothes can be hung on the outside racks, which is really handy. At check‑out we left our bags at reception, ate lunch elsewhere, and when we returned they offered a bathroom to freshen up, brush teeth, coffee, and water—very courteous. I’d gladly come back. It’s also near bus stops.
