I stayed in the old town and ran into a lot of issues. The owner told me to contact him if I had problems, but he never replied. The Wi‑Fi was almost nonexistent and the TV didn’t work at all—so why was it there? There was no warning that the hot water was SCALDING, and my husband burned himself in the shower. The shower was unsafe: no slip mat inside and no substantial mat outside to catch water after stepping out. I didn’t get any instructions on how to use the coffee machine or the air conditioning. I was only told to remove rubbish on leaving, with no guidance on where to put it. There were no tea towels to dry plates or cups, and no information on where to plug in the hairdryer—electric points weren’t all the same, which made the studio’s electrics feel very suspect. Clear directions to the property would have helped, since the old town is hard to navigate.
