The food was excellent and cooked to order, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooms could use some updating even though they were clean and comfortable.

I’ve stayed here four times now, and each visit feels the same—staff are friendly and the facilities are great. The shower worked but its performance was poor.

The place is in a fantastic spot and the hotel’s rich history is a real treat, with old touches that you can’t find elsewhere. It wasn’t spooky, but it definitely gave us a good haunted vibe. I’d love to return for a real investigation, and the breakfast was excellent.
