The breakfast was solid and my wife’s gluten‑free needs were met. The room was roomy, the bed comfy, and the bathroom was decent. The main road outside made it a little noisy with heavy trucks, but I still slept well. The WC was a bit cramped for larger bodies.

I have to compliment Diana on her exceptional hosting skills, from the friendly welcome to the attention to detail in everything she did for us. Nothing was too much for her. The breakfasts were delicious 😋 the room was clean and comfortable and the garden is so pretty. That there is no availability for us to book the room again next year

Our spacious room came with air‑conditioning, a TV, fridge and microwave, and the hotel offered parking as well as a bar‑restaurant close to Addo Park, with welcoming staff. The breakfast was just average, and when I ordered dinner for 18:30 it was delivered to my room around 17:00 because the restaurant had already closed, so I ended up eating on a tiny table inside my room for two.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but there were roadworks on the street, which the hotel couldn’t prevent.

I was initially pleased with the hotel's location, which was conveniently close to the Addo park, and the lovely garden and outside seating area it offered. However, my experience was marred by a few issues, including a non-functional air conditioning unit that the owner attempted to fix but ultimately failed to resolve. The pool was also in a sorry state, with green water that wasn't suitable for swimming, which was a letdown considering we'd been assured it was ready for use.
