The property sits in a good location, the rooms are new and beautiful, and the grounds are tidy and clean. However, the cottages lack tea and coffee, even though the main building provides them. The staff seemed unfriendly, and twice our calls to reception were dropped with no callback.

The hotel is very good, the grounds are pleasant, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the view from the room is nice. The “King Size” label on the room doesn’t actually indicate the bed size, so don’t be confused. They mixed up our order in the room and insisted that we had placed it incorrectly. There isn’t enough space for belongings—no place to hang clothes or put suitcases, and the menu offers very few options for small children. The kids’ playroom is tiny and stuffy.

The resort itself and the balcony were nice, but the air‑conditioning was turned off for half the day even though it was scorching outside; when we first complained we were told there was a problem, only to later learn that this is standard practice, and they should have informed us beforehand.
