The garden was lovely, with plenty of shade that kept it pleasantly cool during the heat of the day. Walking to the train station, bus station, and the beach was easy, all within a few minutes on foot, and the room itself stayed quiet. Breakfast was good, the rooms offered storage for backpacks, plenty of outlets, and mosquito nets, and the bathroom was clean. The only downside was that the beds and pillows felt a bit hard.

We had the tiny sweet treehouse all to ourselves, and it even came with a fly net! A friendly Labrador named “Puppy” would visit us in the evenings and mornings. The family living there were very courteous and nice. I had serious complaints about the air conditioning in a previous hostel, so the host made me tea and kept checking on how I was doing. Breakfast there was also excellent—freshly squeezed juice, bread with jam, and eggs 👍🏽. Highly recommended!
