“Hotel cudny kiepski pokój”
The hotel has been beautifully renovated, the common areas are very pleasant and smell great, and the location is superb – just a short walk to the lifts with plenty of equipment rentals nearby, although the gear isn’t the freshest. Unfortunately the stay didn’t meet my expectations because of the bed issue. I booked a non‑refundable room that promised a large double bed, but after paying I was told the double bed was only “subject to availability.” I asked for clear confirmation, yet received no answer for a long time, so I tried to cancel the reservation as it didn’t match what I’d paid for. Only then did they say the double bed would be provided. When I arrived, the room had two single beds pushed together with a noticeable 10–15 cm gap in the middle, so it wasn’t a proper double bed – one person would end up on the edge of a single mattress or fall into the seam. The room itself didn’t look like the photos; being on the ground floor wouldn’t have mattered at a reasonable price, but the overall standard was lower than advertised. Cleanliness, the bathroom condition and the functionality of the fixtures left a lot to be desired. Service was uneven – some staff were very nice and helpful, while others seemed to treat guest interaction as a chore. In short, the biggest problem was the mismatch between the advertised large double bed and what we actually got; had I been told from the start that it was two separate beds, I would have chosen a different option.
