The idea is nice and with perfect weather it can be a good experience; if you’re a young couple who enjoys camping or a bit of adventure it might suit you. We booked for two kids for three days (not cheap, especially in Thailand). We left after the first night because the tent was scorching, it rained and everything got wet and stinky, and we spotted rats in the evening before bed. If you’re young and adventurous it could work, but for us it was uncomfortable and the spot was too close to the pier to be relaxing.

Close to the beach, scenic view. The living area was hard to keep clean, privacy was low, and storage space was scarce. The host’s communication was mediocre: we asked if early check‑in was possible. We were told we could drop our luggage at 11 h and enter once cleaning finished. The cleaning lady arrived at 11 h, but we waited for three hours nearby and could only enter at 14 h. We also discovered our luggage wasn’t locked. Early check‑in isn’t a given, but we’d have liked to know if it was impossible.

Prime spot right by the pier – central as it gets! Cozy, spotless, with a plush living area and a huge flatscreen TV. Super WiFi, loads of privacy. Ferries hum in the morning, but it’s island magic. Love camping? You’re golden. Epic week!

Location amazing! Such a brilliant experience! Boats start early so bring ear plugs!
