“Sketchy hotel you get what you pay for.”
It was cheap, only 60 a night, and I’d have happily paid more if any other place had vacancies. If I had a tent, I’d rather be in a tent, to be honest. The bathroom door had a hole. They said they didn’t have a room booked when we called before arrival to see if they had a baby cot, and they definitely didn’t have one either. If they had, there would have been nowhere to put it. There was barely room for our bags. The bathroom door barely closed and had to be forced past the bed because it barely fit. The door also had a hole in it. It was badly painted a gross red with weird untreated slabs of wood staple‑gunned to the wall. There were no lamps at all. The air conditioning was off with a sign asking us to turn it off when we left to keep prices low— it was 94 degrees and high humidity so we did not do that. Also we booked a double room, not a king, and only this one was available. The curtains didn’t close all the way—I used a hair clip claw to shut it so the whole parking lot couldn’t see us. It was hands down the sketchiest, worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
