Getting back home was fine, but the room was extremely hot; the AC ran for 6 hours to drop the temperature from 32 to 28, which made for a bad night. Paying for breakfast with gold parking is bloody expensive.

The hotel sits in a great spot and its architecture is cool, with a Palmengarten courtyard. Rooms facing the garden give a nice view, and the upper floors even look out over the Alps. The staff were very friendly and professional. However, the shower was far below standard for the room rate; it was built into a conventional bathtub, and the drain cover was positioned right in front of the shower head, so you had to press it with your feet while showering. For taller guests the shower rod was too low, forcing you to hold the shower by hand, and there were no shelves in the shower.

The bathroom design was a real pain, especially when I was traveling with friends – it was just too uncomfortable.
