Wonderful place with the friendly and smiling Mr. Yamamoto! The layout is excellent – on a hill amid greenery just 5 minutes from Sirahama Beach. Quiet, homely comfort and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The main thing is the host and his dedication to the job! No negatives.

The place was spotless, the window offered a gorgeous sea view, the manager was super friendly and even gave me a postcard I took myself, and the little cat was adorable!

The owner was enthusiastic, welcoming, and replied to messages fast; the beach is under a 10‑minute walk and a 7‑Eleven is close by, which is handy. Our room could comfortably fit two people and had its own private bathroom. It was tidy and fully equipped, so we had everything we needed. The host was considerate, letting us leave our car until 1 PM after check‑out and use the shower for free, which would be great if you want extra beach time. Unfortunately a typhoon hit during our visit, so we missed out on the beach, but we’ll return—maybe in summer—to really enjoy it. He also handed us free postcards, a sweet gesture. Salamat! 🖤 If you drive, note the road up to the property is steep, but the view from the top is worth it.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house sits on a hill right next to the beach, with illuminated covered parking right in front. The building and gear aren’t brand‑new, but everything is super clean, which my wife, who’s usually critical, praised. The bathroom could be larger, which is typical for Japan, and we’d remove the toilet lid cover because it felt unhygienic.
