Meeting Uncle Alit and his family was a real delight; I was genuinely impressed by his herb knowledge and found his life stories fascinating. I appreciated the time he spent with me while I waited for my taxi, and the fresh coconut he cut for me was incredibly sweet and refreshing. No complaints.

The hotel is absolutely perfect for the price, with a very friendly staff. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s not for you because you can hear roosters all night and it’s quite loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault; it’s still ideal.

The place is run by the owner himself, with a welcoming staff that responds quickly. The garden is beautifully landscaped with soothing bonsai, and the rooms and design feel like a star‑rated hotel while blending with the local community. The nearby attractions are close, and all facilities are brand new; I’d recommend staying at Tulak House for a Bali holiday. I’ll return soon—thanks!

Everything was flawless, and I was lucky to discover this spot! Butu and her family were incredibly kind and generous, bringing me coconut and bananas from the garden and always ready to help. I enjoyed a stunning sunrise and sunset view, and I highly recommend Tulak House.

The courtyard is full of Balinese art, parking is ample, the staff are friendly, and the rural Balinese vibe is authentic. The building is still new and fresh.
