The location is handy, the country pub has clean rooms, but it’s billed as a B&B yet offers no breakfast; a cereal bar in the room would have been a nice small token, though breakfast can be found up the road at the Surrey Hills café, which was good.

The beds were only a double, which made them a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel was very close to our friends’ house, and the room was nicely furnished and clean. Still, the mattress was uncomfortable and low quality, needing replacement, and there were several mosquitoes at night; the noise from the pub’s extractor fan kept us up all night.
