The hotel sits right on the edge of Kota Belud and is a short walk from shops and amenities. Rooms are clean, functional, and the ensuite is a decent size. There’s a small balcony outside, though not much to see. Staff are helpful and the property feels very secure, with a laundromat next door. The downside is street parking instead of a dedicated lot; it’s free but only the front of the hotel has CCTV.

Good: there are two restaurants nearby. Bad: the room is dark, the shower pipe leaks, the sliding door to the balcony is broken and cannot lock, and the TV has no signal.

The stay was flawless for us.

When I arrived I had to wait more than 45 minutes for staff to open the door, and there was no way to communicate with them.

The hotel is convenient for a layover night. The room was fine, there were no breakfasts on site but it was close to shops. It was a bit noisy from the road, hard to find a taxi and the staff didn’t know where one was… Grab was unavailable there.
