The house is beautiful, the room and beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff are nice. Nothing to complain about.

The room is nice and the lounge is comfortable. The restaurant was a bit chaotic in the morning, though the breakfast was very good. The staff on Sunday evenings were inexperienced and we had to ask for items that should have been there.
The room is lovely, the hotel is beautiful inside and out, everyone is super polite and caring, the luggage service is top, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. Depending on the room’s location, there can be noise from a nearby dojo when the window is open.

The location is fine, the room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We had stayed here twice before several years ago and the change since then is quite alarming. At check‑in we were told there was no real dinner service, so we didn’t want to go out after a long walk. The shower flooded the bathroom, staff knew about it but still checked us in and said they had extra towels to deal with the expected flood. The spa facilities are very tired. Breakfast staff are inexperienced, and the stay was very expensive for what we received.
