Maryam hostel feels cozy and is well situated. The staff are friendly, kind, and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable. I felt at home here. If I return to Samarkand, I will definitely choose this place again. Thank you!

You can’t use the kitchen, not even a kettle. The beds are uncomfortable to the point where it would be better to sleep on the floor. Hot water isn’t always available.

The cheapest hostel in Samarkand. The room was filthy, as if no one ever cleaned it. There were no mattresses on the beds; you literally lie on a board. The cleaning lady was clearly upset that I even arrived, the bed wasn’t ready, and they just tossed me bedding from another room. They demanded $4 for the registration, which is usually free in other hotels, and I didn’t receive a receipt. I stayed there only a few hours for a nap, so I chose the cheapest option, but after adding those $4 it stopped being the cheapest. Avoid it at all costs.

The room is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the surroundings are fine. There was a slight smell of smoke in the bathroom.

Good staff, checked in at night, helped with luggage. The room matches the description, everything is fine. It was cold in the room.
