The setting was clean, relaxing, and very peaceful, and the morning walk was amazing; the staff were perfect. I was disappointed that when I asked if there was a braai area they said there wasn’t, so we had to drive out for food, but later on a morning walk we spotted a braai area by the chapel.

We booked a one‑night stay right where we needed to be the next morning, and the venue surpassed our expectations; the staff were amazing and welcoming. There is no restaurant on site.

You can walk through all the dams, and breakfast and dinner are served by the fireplace. A few old signs still advertise pedal boats and canoes, but those services are not available for booking.

We love the place. This was our second stay and we still didn't want to leave even though we spent 2 nights. It's the best place to unwind and enjoy nature, delicious food and interact with friendly staff. It's highly recommended especially for those who wish to unwind. There's nothing not to like
