The room was spacious, the bathroom very clean, and the reception very friendly. Parking for 12 € was right at the entrance, even a glass cleaner was provided. Breakfast was okay, but the coffee from the machine was thin. The only downside was that the staff couldn’t keep up with clearing tables. Improvements would include hooks at the sink. The restaurant staff were very nice, but the food was unfortunately not particularly tasty. The surroundings aren’t especially nice, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The accommodation was clean and good, but the room furnishings were worn out. The indoor pool was great! The breakfast buffet was abundant and tasty. The place itself was okay, yet Merseburg feels deserted and run-down. The cathedral is beautiful and interesting, but otherwise it was just…

Everything was great, especially the outdoor seating area.

The staff were very friendly, and the sauna and spa were open until 10 pm.
