It was close to where we wanted to go and the breakfast was good, but the pillows were so flat that we wondered why we were given one; the shower wasn’t really hot, yet the sink was super hot.

Five minutes from Munich Main Station and Stachus shopping, H+ Hotel München provides free Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioned rooms with satellite TV, desks and private bathrooms. A bright breakfast room features wooden furnishings, large windows, Bavarian specialties and beer. Oktoberfest grounds are ten minutes away; Marienplatz fifteen minutes. Direct underground links serve the Neue Messe and Munich Airport.

The price during Oktoberfest is massively inflated.

The location is superb: a ten‑minute walk to Munich Central Station and even closer to Marienplatz, both reachable on foot. The breakfast was plentiful—bread, milk, coffee, fruit, meats, vegetables, a variety of items, especially the distinctive Bavarian sausage which was delicious. The staff were very courteous, particularly in the restaurant where they greeted us in simple Chinese, making us feel warm inside.

The only bright spot was the location and the breakfast. The front‑desk lady was friendly and said sorry for the problems, but the extra bed was infested with two huge beetles that the housekeeping staff had to deal with. My husband asked for a vacuum, which the maids used to suck up the thick dust, and he also killed the beetles in front of them. The furniture was stained, the dust was heavy, the air‑conditioning was broken, and the check‑in lady was extremely rude. I had apparently entered the wrong number of guests for each room, probably due to a language barrier or an app glitch. The front‑desk woman told me I had to pay for the other people’s breakfast and also upgrade our room because we were three instead of two, even though the hotel had said the couch bed would be fine. I admit I made the mistake with the guest count, but the staff knew about it and the check‑out lady’s repeated rude reminder that I was at fault was completely unacceptable. I would never stay here again; if it weren’t for Oktoberfest we would have left.

The spot is right next to the main train station and the staff are super helpful and speak English. Jose was especially attentive. It’s a perfect place for a 2–3 day stay. The downside is that the area around the hotel has many bars and restaurants, so it gets pretty noisy on weekends. Also, while the location is central and convenient, the immediate neighborhood didn’t feel safe at night.
