The inn was beautiful, very clean and well‑maintained: rooms, common areas, courtyard, orchard; the host, Mrs. Maria, never sleeps 🙂. She prepared delicious dishes for breakfast and dinner, was always attentive and made sure we felt pampered. No downsides.

The staff were amazing, the beds were perfect and everything was more than we could wish for. I recommend trying the traditional Romanian breakfast and dinner. The nature and swimming were great… thank you, I’ll return. Pavel

I stayed at the lodge and the location was amazing, right in the middle of nature, surrounded by mountains, everything felt authentic from the scenery to the freshly made breakfast. Mrs. Maria was more than just a host; she was an extraordinary woman, always present for anything we needed. We felt great the whole time and can’t wait to come back.

The location was superb, clean, and had everything you could ask for. Mrs. Mari turned out to be the most generous person, greeting us with chocolate‑filled croissants and pastries when we arrived, and leaving a whole spread of homemade treats when we left.

The place was spotless. The host was incredibly welcoming, a genuinely kind and energetic man. The garden had a well‑kept orchard with plenty of spots set up for relaxing—a little slice of paradise just a stone’s throw from the village. The traditional food was tasty and reasonably priced. It was quiet, the views were stunning, and I’d return anytime I visit Mărișel.
