The bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good, and the place was well‑situated. The carpets could have been vacuumed more thoroughly, and the milk in the fridge wasn’t refilled on Sunday.

Paul, the host, was absolutely amazing and welcomed us with a warm hug; this B&B tops all the ones we've tried. Everything else was flawless—handy location, fantastic breakfast, the tearoom was a sweet touch, fresh milk delivered daily, Netflix on the TV, and the bed was super comfy.

I reached out a week or two before arrival to let them know our check‑in time would be earlier than expected, and they had no trouble. The staff were very friendly and I felt secure in my room. The property sits close to Shanklin’s main street, full of amenities, and is only a 10‑minute walk to the Old Town, a beautiful spot, and also about 10 minutes from the beachfront. There’s a nice compact garden to sit and relax. The hot breakfasts were a bit small, and the shower’s water temperature fluctuated, probably because other guests were using it at the same time.

The room was lovely, bright and airy, and the fridge was a great bonus for chilling drinks. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was superb with fresh fruit and plenty of choices, all of high quality.
