“A comfortable stay with old world charm”

The hotel is a little dated, but I think that’s part of its charm. I had a comfortable three‑night stay with no issues at all. The room was perfectly adequate, and the staff were attentive and helpful. In‑room amenities and tea bags were provided, and there were also self‑service coffee, tea and water stations in the guest lounges, which was a nice touch. Breakfast offered a good variety too. I’d read some rather negative reviews before arriving, but my experience was much better than expected. Overall, a pleasant stay. The mattress was a little too springy for my liking, as I prefer a firmer bed, but it wasn’t a major issue during my three‑night stay.

“Nice place”

The spot is great, smack in the middle of the train station and old Ginza street. The building itself feels a bit old and creaky.

The accommodation is close to the station, the restaurant feels fresh and spacious, and the maple scenery around the property is truly stunning. However, the East Wing rooms feel overly dated and lacking in some basics—there’s not enough laundry equipment, the carpet is a bit dirty, the rooms aren’t as clean as the public areas, there’s no luggage rack, and it’s inconvenient for older guests.

“最高”

The hotel is a charming, classic place that left both my mother and me thoroughly satisfied. The staff were very kind, the location was great, and we enjoyed spotting wild squirrels during our morning walks and while having breakfast. The breakfast itself was tasty, and we’ll definitely return. The only issue was that the bathtub drain took a while to clear; fixing that would make it perfect.
