The only redeeming point was the location. My room’s heating was broken during the heating season, and after several inquiries the staff added an old radiator. When I turned it on, the circuit breaker tripped. The issue was never fixed, leaving me cold and dark. The person I spoke to was very unmotivated and only on the phone (there was no one on site); he told me I would only get a refund if I omitted the complaint from my review and didn’t file a complaint. I left that evening, still without light in freezing cold.

The hotel sits in a central yet quiet spot, even though there are a few bars on the street—very convenient! The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were extremely helpful; when the key safe jammed my key, a friendly employee arrived shortly after and sorted everything out. All in all, a good experience.

The bed was comfortable and the kettle with tea in the room was a nice touch. However, there was no bedside lamp. The bathroom wasn’t very clean—vent and heating were an issue. The sink was clogged and the shower door was rusty.

The location was great. The key was accessed via a numeric code and checking out was also simple. The room was clean and had everything we needed for one night, even tea. The bed was comfortable. The smoke detector was missing from the ceiling, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, but I still mention it because I didn’t see it. There are only public paid parking spaces.
