Lille Citadelle Charming house with courtyard

“A very good stay, next to Citadelle nature park”

The location is excellent and the place is charming. There is a bit of noise from the next‑door house because of the old structure and poor sound insulation, but the neighbourhood is generally quiet.

“Quiet location, easy to get to by local bus. Very happy.”

The location was good and easy to reach by bus from opposite the Westfield shopping centre in Lille centre. The house had everything you need for a stay. It was so quiet that you could hear the birds in the morning. Local bars were not loud, so the stay remained peaceful. A Carre four city is 8 minutes away for groceries. Overall, I loved the stay. The sofa bed in the downstairs room was really uncomfortable to sit on. Mosquito nets on the windows would be good in summer because quite a few mosquitoes were inside the property.

“Amabile piccolo cottage”

The cleaning was good and the elegance was appreciated. The room was not equipped for heat.

“Un logement pratique et charmant à 5 minutes du centre de Lille.”

The location was perfect in a pleasant setting. Key pickup was simple and the instructions were clear. The interior layout made you feel “at home” very quickly. Nothing, except the beam between the bathroom and the bedroom (above 1.85 m, guaranteed KO). It’s also a shame that vehicle access (even limited in time) is not possible.

I stayed in a charming old workers' house, the bed was fantastic and the area was quiet, just a 20‑minute walk from the city centre. A nice Greek restaurant is right around the corner. The downside was that the toilet was directly connected to the whole house, so there was zero privacy when using it. The basement was also open (hidden behind a wardrobe), which made the air feel musty; a scented candle helped, but sealing the toilet and basement would have made a big difference.
