“Magnifique comme je l attendais”

This riad is charming, quiet, clean and pleasant, with a terrace and sun loungers for a little sunbathing. Mohamed, a tall, strong young man, greets you gently and gives advice on what to do that day. Hassania kindly takes care of your room, and Khadija prepares a magnificent breakfast that made me gain a few kilos. I spent a wonderful week thanks to these people and I thank them, Paul.

The welcome and hospitality of Sarah, the location, and the cleanliness of the room and the riad are all positive. I tried to find the place of the boys from another riad and they wanted to let us into their riad, tricking us into thinking it was the same, laughing and speaking Arabic; we were frightened and called Sarah, who welcomed us in the best possible way!

“Comfortable stay with lovely hosts and excellent location.”

The staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming, from hosts Kamal and Sarah to the cleaner and cook. The hosts were always ready to answer questions and give tips on where to go or what to do. The rooms are comfortable and cute, with traditional doors. Breakfast was fresh every day: baked goods (including the traditional msamman/ghee bread), jams, honey, coffee, delicious Moroccan tea. It was probably the best read one could get in the area as it was clean and nicely decorated. Beware that the AC is very effective because the rooms are small, so it is easy to make the room too cold. The tiny swimming pool, more of a still (i.e., non‑bubbly) jacuzzi, in the middle of the courtyard made us feel that everyone in the hotel could look down on us while we were in it, but it was still a nice addition and looks clean. It would have been nice to have more variety for breakfast, e.g., fruit or savoury food, as it was almost all sweet/sugary stuff, but on our last day after we mentioned it, they kindly brought us eggs!

“Un riad authentique et des hôtes extras !”

Sarah and Kamal were absolutely perfect hosts! They were there for us at every moment, with great kindness and both present and discreet as one dreams of! The riad is very clean, the housekeeper is impeccable. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is top. The environment is very calm and the location close to the square and everything else is a must! Special mention for the homemade breakfast, very generous and varied! We are more than happy with our stay and we recommend this riad with our eyes closed! Choukran 🙏 The only downside might be that with the strong heat we would have appreciated a small fridge in the room to keep our water bottles cool.
