La Sari Village

We’re only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, which is great. We booked two rooms with breakfast, but when we arrived the receptionist said our room didn’t include breakfast, even though the booking confirmation did.

“Handy and great for a few nights if you aren’t fussy about smells.”

A short stroll to the surf, comfy bed and towels, clean pool and yard, and always friendly staff. I’d have given this place a 10 if the sewerage or mold smell hadn’t seeped into the room and the outside kitchen hadn’t been cleaned. We opened all the windows all day and all night to try to get rid of it, but we just told ourselves it was only another four nights and we slept in the room.

“Buena situación. Tranquilo y agradable.”

The hotel is tiny and cozy, we were very relaxed. The room faced the pool. The location is good, on a small street a bit away from nightlife, very close to the beach where you surf. On the same street there are stalls with offers for tourist activities (you find these in all cities, but since it was the first place we visited it helped us plan activities). The staff are very pleasant. Overall the Balinese are a delight. In general, Canggu isn’t one of the best places in Bali. It’s quite touristy, but the hotel is pretty good.

“Good stay at la Sari village”

The location is next door to all the parties. The beach is literally outside the house just walk 1 minute. Super friendly staff and also takes care of laundry but you pay ofcourse but saves you time to find a separate laundry service. Never tried the food I forgot about it. They have a fridge outside you can buy drinks and water from. Good aircon. The bathroom needs to look better. Black Mold on the bed on the side
