I was traveling to Sweden and the hotel’s location was perfect, above Hamburg so I didn’t have to deal with the morning traffic there. The room was good, large, and had a nice bathroom. I arrived at about 9:30 pm and received the key for room 306. When I entered, the room was not cleaned: the bed wasn’t made and towels were on the floor in the bathroom. I went downstairs and got another key on the third floor. That room was also not cleaned. I went back down, worried the receptionist might be gone because she works until 10 pm, and received the key for a third room, which was also not clean. I was frustrated; this was the fourth time I had to move rooms. The fourth room was dirty too, with personal items like toiletries and medicine on the table. I can’t rule out that this room was still in use. Finally, on the fifth attempt, the receptionist went upstairs and we found a clean room immediately. I had walked back and forth four times and was already very frustrated. I visit many hotels, but I’ve never experienced this before; not once, but four times. I don’t know how to express this in a review, so I give hygiene a heavy fail.

“Hinta&laatu eivät kohdanneet”

The room was spacious and the bed was good. The restaurant was conveniently located on the hotel premises. Breakfast was quite basic.

My “Deluxe Single Room” was on the first floor with a view of the courtyard, right above the back entrance door and the smoking area. That could actually be described better. Breakfast: well, it was okay…
