The hotel's position near Rutland Water is really convenient, loved being able to walk there.
The lake views were lovely, but that's about where the positives ended.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, which made our stay great.
The evening meal was really good, but I wasn't prepared for a wedding in the lounge area and it got a bit uncomfortable.

“Would visit again because of the location and staff”
The staff were excellent and flawless, but the room wasn’t clean and the shower wasn’t great.

This hotel was amazing, especially since it was cheap as chips for a last‑minute emergency booking and the staff were very accommodating. We even received a free room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The views of the wetlands/lakes were delightful.
