Villa Talpe

The bathroom was roomy. In the room there was a desk with a chair, so I could work on my laptop. The pool was only suitable for morning and evening stretching. I liked the roofed terrace and the pavement. The room had a smell that I couldn’t reduce, unlike other places with similar issues; neither the air conditioning nor natural ventilation helped. Noise from the lower floor, where a TV ran late in the evening, was noticeable. For someone traveling with family it might be unnoticed, but for a solo traveler seeking quiet it is significant. The internet connection isn’t very stable, but that’s typical for the area.

The family was very sweet and friendly, trying hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were completely satisfied. There was nothing to criticize.

“Super villa et super hôtes”

The hosts were incredibly kind, gave us advice, and were always available if needed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The room was super comfortable and well equipped. The garden was very pretty and the pool was great! The bathroom had an awful backflow. The location required a long walk to reach the main road. Once there, it was practically impossible to swim; you had to walk a long way along the road to find access to “the beach” (which in reality are not beaches but rocks or tiny sand patches washed by waves). In Thalpe, guesthouses and hotels have privatized the possible swimming spots, which is very unfortunate. Turtle Beach was the only area we found where we could swim a little.

The owner and the team are very supportive and courteous. The approach road needs more attention and more space from the surrounding buildings to allow visitors to travel more comfortably.

These are the best hosts we’ve met in all our travels. Rossi and her family are friendly to everything. If you decide to relax away from tourist crowds, choose this villa. We arrived on the 6th and were alone; the pool was perfect, breakfasts were amazing, and there were a lot of squirrels on the property. Air conditioning, warm water, towels, and a hair dryer. The biggest plus is the family. ❤️ I’ll definitely come back.
