The beach was just a short walk away and the staff were very polite, but the overall experience was disappointing because of the noise, extra fees, and lack of privacy and security. The hotel was noisy; at night we heard strange sounds like mowing a lawn or sawing wood even around midnight. We stayed on the third floor, supposedly the highest guest level, yet it seemed someone—perhaps the owners—was living or staying right above us. During the evening and late hours we could hear furniture being moved upstairs. Almost everything required an additional charge: extra or fresh towels cost money or you had to wait for the regular three‑day change schedule, and the in‑room safe was also fee‑based. The late check‑out situation was especially frustrating. At check‑in we were offered two late‑checkout options, at 13:00 and 17:00, both for an extra fee. We chose the 17:00 option, but we were charged for the 13:00 one because the 17:00 could only be confirmed on the day of departure. On the last day we were told we could no longer pay for the 17:00 late checkout; instead we were offered to pay for an extra full night and then check out whenever we wanted. We only needed a few extra hours, not another night, so it felt like a way to squeeze more money from guests. Maintenance problems included a broken shower and some bathroom tiles, old and uncomfortable furniture, and housekeeping that folded our clothes and moved or touched our personal belongings while cleaning the room.

The hotel was a small family‑run place where the staff, especially a certain Samuel at reception, was very pleasant during our 5‑night stay. The air conditioning didn’t work well, but in October that wasn’t a big issue.

“Pobyt ekonomiczny w bardzo dobrych warunkach. Czysto, sympatycznie i bezproblemowo z dodatkowymi prośbami.”

The staff were wonderful, friendly, smiling, helpful, and the coffee and breakfast were simply amazing.

The front desk was very friendly and even gave us free coffee; the room was small but tidy. It’s close to the seaside and about a ten‑minute walk from the train station, offering good value. The only downside is that it’s not in the old town, so getting to the historic area is a bit farther.
