The location was great, really quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the equipment provided was a bit lacking - the gas bottles for the stove were empty, which made it hard to heat water, and the paper cutlery was mouldy. For the price, I'd expect a bit more, like some proper utensils.

We had a really peaceful and comfy stay here, and the owner was super friendly and helpful, responding quickly to all our questions. One thing that would have made it even better is if we'd known about the camping stove - we could have brought some food and drinks with us and made the most of it. Still, all in all it was a great experience.

The location was spot on and the glamping was clean and tidy, with decent access to toilets and showers. That being said, it was pretty dark when we arrived back from a wedding at the castle, and we were glad we'd visited beforehand to get our bearings - there wasn't even a sign at the front to say it was a Barefoot Retreats place, so we had to double-check with the owner.

The location was lovely, but the farm and nursery looked a bit run down compared to the pictures. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing I can say - the whole place was pretty grubby, with old furniture and stained bedding that looked like it had been around for years. The tent had no lighting and the heating was basically a rusty wood stove and a wonky fire pit outside, which wasn't exactly helpful when the wood was wet.
