The beds were spotlessly comfortable, the room had charming little touches, the hot tub was delightful, and the restaurant served divine food.
The Beef Wellington was excellent.

Everything was perfect: the food was amazing, service excellent, and the stay felt very authentic. I would highly recommend it.

I stayed in a quiet, snug room with a great pressure hot shower, and a young, very helpful staff member guided us to our room. However, moving luggage through the narrow pathways was a hassle, especially with a walking stick.

This place is our go‑to during New Zealand stays; it’s the third consecutive year we’ve come for skiing, and the Cardrona hotel remains a must‑visit. The food is great, the staff lovely, the hot tub cozy, and the rooms very nice. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping us every 20 minutes, which was a bit annoying but not deal‑breaking.
