The place was kept very clean and the room was stylish enough to feel comfortable. There were no particular negatives; the tourist spots were a bit far, but it was still worth staying.

We had an exceptional stay in the monks’ quarter of the Temple—relaxed, well‑equipped, and welcoming in an amazing atmosphere that kicked off our Japan trip perfectly. The space was calm, inviting, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed; everything from the hair dryer to the fully equipped kitchen with great utensils and cookware felt high‑quality, unlike many budget options. The temple area’s softly lit bell house added a beautiful, peaceful touch. The host was very friendly and ensured everything was ready, so we missed nothing. Highly recommended; we’d definitely return.
