“Perfect stay, amazing location and food”
Everything was spot‑on. The staff went above and beyond, and the gardens and hotel architecture are so beautiful I could have spent the whole day just wandering around. Breakfasts were definitely worth the hype and the burger I had was downright delicious, plus the archaeological park is only a five‑minute walk away—hard to beat.
“They changed the rate and forced a card reservation”
Nothing worked out – they called me after I booked to say the rate shown online was too low for the new owner and now I had to put a credit‑card on file. I told them it wasn’t the guest’s fault, but I ended up cancelling, noting that San Agustín seems to be overrun with hotels and their service was terrible. Bottom line: they don’t honor the rates advertised.

The place is gorgeous and probably the best spot to stay near San Agustín – quiet, beautiful surroundings, top‑notch food and service that felt truly exceptional. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to unplug and have an unforgettable experience. It’s the kind of stay that sticks with you.

This place feels tucked away from the town’s hustle, which was a nice break. The food was excellent, the staff genuinely friendly, and the San Agustín archaeological park is just a short stroll away. All in all, a pleasant, low‑key spot to unwind.

The hotel sits right next to the park, the staff were super helpful and the rooms were spotless. The restaurant served solid, tasty dishes, and because we needed an early bus (they arranged it), they gave us a generous breakfast to‑go that was surprisingly good.
