Motel Hrasno

The motel is accessible and easy to park, but it’s located right in front of a building, is in ruins, and looks awful. The reception is cold, with no one on site, and even the check‑in process feels like a scam. The façade is the only thing that looks tidy. The basement is closed and abandoned like everything else. The mattresses use springs, which isn’t great. The hotel feels more like a hostel, and this kind of scam has to stop. I have no issue with the owner, but I’m telling the truth. On the phone they asked me to pay forty‑five euros per account on the website, but it’s twenty‑five euros at night for two people, and it changes all the time. Nothing matches what’s advertised online; nothing is true.

I never stayed there; the motel was closed and unresponsive when I arrived, even though they had confirmed my reservation earlier. I had sent them my arrival time, but there was no one to help me check in, no instructions, the motel was shut for the day, and I couldn’t reach them because they weren’t answering messages. I ended up sleeping in my car at a rest stop. Zero out of ten, super unprofessional. To make matters worse, they marked me as a no‑show a couple of days later and cancelled the reservation.

The hotel is close to the waterfalls, but the breakfast is very modest (plain milk bread, jam, and coffee). There are no drinks for children, and there’s no variety.

Climbing fifty stairs to reach the room was required, breakfast was advertised in the price but turned out not to exist on site, the shower lacked a curtain so after bathing I had to wipe the toilet seat, the air‑conditioning worked fine but everything else was poor, the TV remote was there but there was no TV, and when I arrived I asked whether I should pay now or at checkout; they said checkout, yet the next morning at 7 am the landlord woke us up demanding immediate payment with no receipt or record, ruining our 37th wedding anniversary – it was the worst experience I’ve had.
