Staying with family and friends was handy, and having the restaurant on site made for lovely walks while reading about the rescued animals; however, the rooms lacked a microwave and crockery, so on Saturday night we had to bring a cold pasta salad and eat it with a teaspoon because we didn’t want to go up for a meal.
