I was happy that the hotel was close to my office, but the room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in; when I touched the curtain it began to fall off, there was no chair, no desk, and every TV was reported to be broken. The room was also very cold.

The room was fairly clean with fresh white linens, but the sound insulation was awful, the plumbing needed replacement, the floor creaked loudly, the balcony doors were broken and could not be shut at night, all TVs were non‑functional, the entry door had a 2 cm gap when closed which explains the noise, the furniture was worn, and the stationary hair dryer was supposedly mounted on the wall but the tubes for drying hair were missing from the set.

During the shelling, the female administrator herself was worried but she led all of us into the basement. She truly cared for us, which is the biggest plus.
