The place is super easy to reach and sits in a lovely garden full of fruit trees, with a shared kitchen that offers free coffee, fruit, pastries, toast, and drinks, or a small fee for the coffee pot. Maria gave thorough information, and parking can be added for 10 € if needed. The bed was extremely narrow and uncomfortable, so we slept poorly, and the open window let in street noise; the room door also tends to open on its own if not latched.

Maria was very friendly and ensured everything was to our liking, never leaving anything out. She explained what to see and enjoy in the area, pointing out the best spots since she was born there and knows even the hidden corners. She gave us a map, so we didn’t need to stop by a tourist office. The room was very clean and had beautiful details. Breakfast was an option, and she offered a fridge and microwave in a common area. There’s also a huge garden with tables where we could eat dinner one day with our own food. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return. Parking in Castro is tough, but fortunately the accommodation allows you to leave the car, and we didn’t need to move it during our stay because everything is within walking distance.
