“Fürchterlich”
Breakfast was okay and the staff were very friendly, but the stay left me speechless; I expected first‑class luxury, yet the cleanliness was severely lacking. Every corner had spiders and thick cobwebs, a dirty nightstand with sticky residue, and a stained carpet. The walls showed water spots—possibly mold—long cracks, missing trim on the paneling, and the carpeted hallways were dirty and scuffed. Light barely passed through the windows, and even outside there were cobwebs everywhere. An aging hotel is acceptable if it remains clean and well maintained, but here everything was dilapidated, unkempt, and downright disgusting. The beds were comfortable and clean, but that couldn't salvage the overall impression. Even though the housekeeping staff—who were very nice—sucked the spiders away immediately, the thought that more might remain in other corners, especially where the nightstand was thickly woven against the wall, lingered. The breakfast was adequate for the otherwise poor conditions, solid but nothing special. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, which is worth noting, yet they couldn't compensate for the miserable state of the hotel. In short, a completely rundown, unclean establishment whose price is far from justified. We felt very uncomfortable during our stay and would not recommend this hotel because of its condition and lack of cleanliness.
