Eugenio was a lifesaver – even though he wasn’t always on site, he answered my messages fast and sorted everything from airport taxis to a pickup at the botanic gardens. As a solo female traveler I felt taken care of. The only downside was the group of local guys hanging out on the dark street in front of the house, making a lot of noise at night and not seeming to notice we were trying to sleep.

The apartment had everything we needed – a kitchen, fridge and a tiny terrace where we could eat. Its location was spot‑on, just a minute’s walk from the main square and close to the beach. Eugenio arranged a cheap island tour and even booked our airport taxi, though our ground‑floor room had limited natural light because the shutters wouldn’t open, which wasn’t a big deal since we spent most of our time out.

The spot is right where you want to be, but the neighboring noise can be a nuisance, especially at night.
