The complimentary breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly and courteous, but overall this stay was the lowest in my hotel rankings. Three hours before check‑in they texted me that a party would be happening and that there would be loud noise. When we got there the staff were busy with the party and it took a while to get someone to check us in. The room was on the 3rd‑floor attic with no elevator, the beds felt like camping cots with thin mattresses, and the skylight windows had no darkening curtains. The bathroom was clean but had a cigarette‑smoke smell. The party’s bass thumped until 1 am and after that kids were screaming in the corridors, so I didn’t get a good night’s sleep and it definitely wasn’t worth €79.

Getting there is a breeze via the highway, and the place is kept in great shape with artwork and a lovely garden. The room is roomy and functional, and breakfast was even included even though it wasn’t mentioned during booking, which was a pleasant surprise. The only downside is that there’s no curtain in the toilet, although the window faces a quiet field with few passersby, and the floor is carpeted, which I personally don’t like.
