“Belle étape pour profiter les charmes du Vermont”
Getting there was easy and the large free parking was convenient. The breakfast selection leaned heavily toward Anglo‑Saxon fare; those craving croissants or brioche would have to wait. We were assigned a disabled room, which gave us a spacious bathroom and a more pleasant shower head than the US‑style ceiling‑mounted units that splash a freezing or boiling stream while you hunt the right temperature. A pleasant surprise was a well‑kept garden tucked between otherwise conventional buildings. We enjoyed the indoor pool to start the day. For those wanting to enjoy the charm of Lake Champlain and downtown Burlington, the hotel feels a bit out of the way. Regarding the pool, the only changing area is the single restroom, which isn’t very suitable. A couple of lockers would be helpful to avoid walking through the hotel dripping into your room.
