There are lockers available for residents, which is handy if you need to leave luggage before or after your stay.

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. However, there was no fridge for milk or other perishables, and I had only a limited selection of tea and coffee with no teaspoon provided. The double room was tiny, and the bathroom felt like a shoebox. Using the bathroom required entering a code, and housekeeping only emptied the bin, not making the bed or changing towels. I couldn’t get any terrestrial channels on the TV, and the Wi‑Fi password given in the room was wrong. I called Claire in a panic, but her call wasn’t answered and she later sent an email stating that any calls (except for fire alerts) would cost £50, with a curt suggestion to just turn the TV on and off. Thankfully Netflix worked. A helpful addition would be clear instructions for TV and Wi‑Fi and a map of Cambridge for out‑of‑town and overseas guests. I won’t stay again or recommend.

Only the location was decent, but this place is a scam. I booked based on photos, yet was told I’d be staying in the attic after payment. Traveling with an elderly parent who had mobility issues and luggage, we had to climb three flights of stairs. I asked for a room change, but the host refused and also denied a partial refund. The property has no kitchen, and accessing the top floor bathroom is steep. Customer support staff tried to negotiate but were flatly refused. The host is totally unresponsive, cuts calls, and shows no courtesy or humanity. This is the worst experience. Better options near the railway station include Ibis Hotel, Station Hotel, and Clayton Hotel. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price; spend a little more for better alternatives near Cambridge Railway Station.
