The lodge was just the right size for a couple and its spot was ideal for hopping around different spots. We never spoke to anyone, so we can't comment on the staff. It felt a bit lifeless without any staff around, and the note telling us to tidy up before we left was a let‑down – we’d normally do that ourselves, but some guests might miss the instructions, so maybe bring in a housekeeping helper.

Stepping in felt like walking into a showroom! The vistas were stunning and the place was so warm right from the start, no chilly welcome. Everything was spotless and ready, and we had the accessible lodge – I think everyone deserves a spot like this.
