Everything was fine: great food, friendly and pleasant staff, a clean room, and a convenient way to reach the historic centre. Surrounded by nature and animals. Unfortunately the bathroom was infested with bed bugs, but otherwise everything was excellent.

The building is gorgeous, and the owners are warm and friendly. I highly recommend trying the restaurant; we ate wonderfully. The spot is perfect, just a two‑minute walk to the village entrance.

The location is convenient for exploring the village and parking is free. Unfortunately the property has potential but is poorly maintained, and our stay was very disappointing. We booked a triple room, but it only had a double bed and no real space for a third; our son had to sleep between us. We found a lot of dust on drapes, windowsills, furniture, and décor. The room door lacked a standard key lock and used an external padlock instead. We knew there was no air conditioning, as advertised, but with the high temperatures a fan would have been essential. Keeping the windows open was problematic because there were no screens, and yet there were blankets and a quilt on the bed despite the heat. The pool, listed as available, was completely green; when we asked, the staff said it was normal for a saltwater pool, but we didn’t feel like using it. At night a rooster crowed from midnight until morning, making it hard to sleep. In the morning, a staff member kindly offered to prepare breakfast. We appreciated the gesture but, after the night, we preferred to leave the property rather than eat. We also avoided discussing the various issues at the time. It’s a real shame because the property could do well, but it needs much more care, cleanliness, and guest attention. I hope this review helps the owners improve and future guests know what to expect.
