The staff were nice, but the signage made it hard to find the place, the video monitors were laughably tiny, the shower curtain was too short so water splashed everywhere, and I had to use the remaining towels to soak it up; there was no breakfast, no pool, and not much else.

I liked that it was off the beaten path and there was almost no main‑road noise, but parking was a problem – after dinner I found no spots near the main building and had to use the off‑site lot at the bottom of the property, which was terrible in the storm.

Since my daughter started at WVU, we’ve stayed here repeatedly and it’s always been a solid experience; the front desk is very helpful, rooms stay clean, and it’s just a quick drive to the campus.

The place looked reasonably clean, but locating the entrance was a hassle, and the owners should consider installing solar signs and better lighting. The parking lot feels cramped, lacks sufficient exterior lighting, and the landscaping could be more attractive; there’s a lot of smoking outside. Breakfast isn’t offered, and with only one elevator and no floor‑level signs, it’s confusing. The toilets need to be updated to one‑piece units, cabinets and fixtures are outdated, and the lobby feels more like a post office than a welcoming space.
