Windsor's Breeze

I brought my parents to a nicer room; after work we caught a train that left just before 6 pm and arrived at Dayanfu Station, then walked to Jiufen Xiahai City God Temple. The staff helped us with our luggage, gave us a map, and guided us to the front desk where they explained the room location and the old street directions. The room was better than expected: on the first floor you can see the neighboring rooms, the bathroom is spacious, and the second floor has a sofa with a glass window overlooking the sea. After eating on the old street, we bought snacks, celebrated a cousin’s birthday, and the second‑floor space was large enough for a sofa and table, with a night view for chatting and laughing. The morning sun brightened the sea view, stunning like a painting. Breakfast arrived at 8:20 am; we all ate while enjoying the view. At 10:00 am we prepared to check out, the owner quickly arranged luggage transport, told us to wander slowly, and when we were ready to leave, they met us at a spot to take our luggage. Later we tried local snacks, walked around, then I told the owner we’d take a bus; they directed us to the bus stop and carried our luggage there. The service felt truly caring, giving a home‑away‑from‑home feeling that moved us; everyone was happy, and the stay and food were delightful. It’s definitely worth it and I’ll come back if I can—highly recommended.

“最高でした！”

Even though check‑in was late, the staff greeted me without a frown and even came by motorcycle, so I didn’t have to climb stairs to reach the hotel—much appreciated. Hospitality was superb. Breakfast wasn’t large, but it arrived on time and the sandwiches and fruit were tasty. The view from the window was fantastic, and I’ll be back. The only downside was the lack of face towels and toothbrushes; a heads‑up that these amenities aren’t provided would have been better, as travelers usually expect them and it could affect the hotel’s reputation.

The location is convenient—no stairs to the Shengping Cinema. The only complaint is the toilet handle, which is a bit awkward.

The location is great, close to the old town; parking is available at a partnered lot with a discount, and the owner is very helpful, even bringing luggage to the room from the parking lot. The pillows would be more comfortable if they were a bit higher.
