Great location with excellent rooms and beds. The massage was fantastic. The noise from the Saturday evening party that ran parallel to the rooms was very loud until 1 a.m.; I only learned about it casually. Other guests were participants in the party. The owner should either rent exclusively from the start or cancel the room in such a case, which would have been fine. That’s why I’m subtracting a point.

A comfortable establishment with a very well restored interior, quality materials, and bright common areas. The environment is calm with pleasant green spaces. The breakfast was very good with fresh products. Meals can be reheated, and drinks are available at any time from the self‑service station.

The property is very well situated next to Draguignan, the Birdie room we had was very comfortable, and the bathroom was good. The toilet is separate. The gardens are very large, the pool is huge, there’s a small spa, a rooftop, electric charging points, the building is beautiful, and the renovations were tastefully done. The owner is very kind (though a bit too much for my taste). However, upon closer inspection, the nightstands in the room are too small to put anything on them, there’s no VMC in the bathroom (or I didn’t see one!), the hairdryer was dirty and sticky with hair on it, the parking isn’t lit at night, so it’s hard to see anything; there’s one smashed car and one smashed scooter on the parking lot that have probably been there for a long time (that shocked me). The trash bins in the castle are visible and not hidden (the ones next to the charging points!). The green areas are poorly maintained, the mattresses on the “beds” by the pool are dirty, the breakfast is good but self‑service, so no service; you have to clear your dishes and making a cappuccino is complicated! The open‑kitchen concept in the main dining room isn’t great in my opinion; you don’t want to see other guests making an omelette in the morning and smell cooking odors while you calmly have your coffee! I don’t want to feel like I’m at home in a supposedly romantic and secret place! Also, the dishes stay dirty in the sink! The corridor walls that lead to the five rooms are damaged even though the castle was refurnished three years ago! The water in the fountain at the castle entrance is stagnant and all the plants are dead! Two large refrigerators are broken and broken parasols are lying next to the staircase up to the rooftop; ashtrays are not emptied, the spa is dark. It’s not what the establishment wants to sell. Definitely not a five‑star, the value for money isn’t good. It’s really too expensive for what it is. At check‑out in the morning, there was no one at the reception even though I waited.
